Ponce Inlet to Lake Worth

Leaving Ponce Inlet we made another overnight run arriving in Lake Worth , Florida mid morning on Wednesday.  The sailing was beautiful with a stiff east wind driving the boat at speed.

We are here to stage for a Bahamas crossing, but also to see good friends Annie Whitney & HB Whitmore, who are wintering in a "luxury camping resort" not far from where we anchored.

We anchored in a familiar place near Phil Foster State Park.  The park has a convenient dinghy dock and walking space for Sam.

After a rest and a few boat chores we walked the five blocks over  a nice restaurant to meet Annie and HB. They’re neighbor Faye joined in, a charming lady with lots of fun stories.

Sam was a good girl laying under the table, entertained by doing some people watching and a rib bone from our plate.

It was an early night for us, being somewhat depleted by our multiple overnights of recent.
